This weekend, I saw the 2013 appearances of Alexis Tsipras and Yanis Varoufakis on the Zagreb subversive festival. These videos explain the ideological values of the Greek Syriza party and the politics of the Greek government after this party took power after the 2015 elections.
I'm talking about two videos here. In the first one we see Alexis Tsipras and Slavoj Žižek, discussing the role of the European Left:
In the second one, under the title "Confessions of an Erratic Marxist", Yanis Varoufakis explains his position:
Yanis writed down and expanded last talk in some significant ways on his blog under the slightly expanded title "Confessions of an erratic Marxist in the midst of a repugnant European crisis". On this blog you'll find also the different versions of "A Modest Proposal for Resolving the Eurozone Crisis" by Yanis Varoufakis and Stuart Holland, later joined by James K. Galbraith.
